The Ultra-Micron®
Fresh Squeezed Water^TM
The Ultra-Micron® filtration system combines submicron ultra-filtration with reverse osmosis and absorption filtration to produce high-quality drinking water for the home.
First the water is pre-filtered to remove particles as small as 5 microns.
Pre-filtering then enables the water to pass through a granulated activated carbon filter to remove chlorine.
Next, the water is "squeezed" through a thin film composite membrane, or reverse osmosis process, that filters dissolved solids, including lead and cysts.
The Ultra-Micron® then employs a prolonged-contact filter for ultimate carbon filtration.
Finally, before the water reaches your tap from the storage tank, it passes through a third carbon filter to absorb taste and odors.
The contaminants or other substances removed by the Ultra-Micron® are not necessarily in your water. Laboratory testing is needed to determine content.
